The mission of Hilltop Preschool is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes your child's overall development, supports your child in his or her own quest for knowledge, and fosters a love of learning.

Hilltop Preschool provides an environment that encourages active exploration and discovery in a nurturing, intimate setting. Through the Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, children are given the tools and support to lead them through their own distinct paths of discovery. A child-led, emergent, project-based curriculum encourages children to be active participants in the learning process and to develop the skills needed to explore their ideas, interests, and questions in a meaningful way. In this play-based program children have opportunities to construct knowledge and make sense of the world by engaging in both typical preschool experiences such as block play, dramatic play, and sensory experiences as well as hands-on activities such as cooking and gardening. Children explore broad concepts such as light and shadow, how things move, and change over time.

Half-day, morning preschool; 9am-12pm, Monday-Thursday. Two, three, or four-day schedules available. Master-level teacher with degrees in Child Development, Elementary Education, French Instruction, and Leadership and Policy in Early Care and Education.
