cellochan is a well known cello school in Ann Arbor, MI. The program values the pursuit of excellence in the context of self esteem and community.
In addition to the private lesson, optional activities offered include: frequent performance opportunities, a cello ensemble, an adult chambr group, home concerts, formal solo recitals, and more. Students come to value and respect their unique learning styles and clarify their own cellist goals. Adult students are accepted.

Playing the cello involves all facets of a person: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Finding one's authentic musical ‘voice’ through employing patience, regular practice, self-love, and presence can open one up to greater levels of fulfillment and overall health.
