WORKING AMERICA GRASSROOTS ORGANIZER
Working America is hiring Canvass Organizers to educate and mobilize communities door to door, while generating members.

And we work against wrong-headed priorities favoring the rich and corporate special interests over America's well-being.

Basic Function: Educate and motivate the public to become active participants in bringing about social change and the progressive vision. These duties include specifically: issue and voter education, recruiting new members, generating letters to elected officials, small donor fundraising, and GOTV and voter persuasion during electoral campaigns.

Work Week: Monday through Friday, 1:30 to 10:00 p.m. (this may vary due to travel time).

Requirements:
- Political commitment to issues, organization, and the progressive vision.
- Successful completion of training period.
- Ability to accurately articulate organizational issues, mission, and strategy.
- Ability to work well in a group, and one-on-one
- Confident communication skills.
- Maintaining professionalism in field and office work.
- Positive review with Canvass Director.
