Every February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. For the pets of HSHV it will be another day of hoping they find love once again. Even if you are unable to welcome a furry family member into your home you can still show the animals at HSHV (and all of our visitors, staff and volunteers) that you care about homeless animals by Hanging a Heart.
For only $10.00, we will hang a colorful heart with your name on the kennel of a puppy, kitten, cat, or dog currently at HSHV. Or Hang a Heart in the name of your Valentine and send one of our cute e-cards letting them know about your gift. We promise they'll like it better than a box of chocolates!
Our goal is that between now and Valentine’s Day every pet at HSHV will be lucky enough to have a heart on their cage. With your support we can help homeless pets find true love.
